Me with Beyond Good & Evil visionary, Michel Ancel.

At this moment I am a part of the debt-ridden student populace. I attend a university in Northern England where I am working towards a 'BA' degree in Computer Games Design.

In the extra-curricular hours, I occupy myself with indie games projects, 2D and 3D arts and a certain amount of gaming and role-play, including leading a fantasy Second Life.

On the occassions in which I have money to spare, I like to attend conventions like Collectormania, and enjoy collecting game and animé memorabilia. I'm also rather fond of the odd pub social and cinema outing.

My dream is to work my way up to environment and level design in the video games industry. I hope very soon to put my passion and keen eye for detail to good use in a game design internship.

In trying to learn the skills to make games, I have achieved near-consistent 'A' and 'B' grades in first and second-year degree evaluations, with my strongest areas being games culture study and concept design.

From the age of 14 I've been working a variety of jobs, from newspaper delivery to retail and seasonal work. I've chiefly been employed at high street stores dealing in multimedia or video games.

I've also been known to fill gaps in my employment with freelance graphic design and art commissions, dealing with clients like BATS Next Gen.

University work has taken a lot of my time and effort in the past year, but I am now out looking for internships to compliment my degree.
